Some might say that we at ATV News have a crystal ball to see into the future with as we correctly predicted last year several drama’s on ITV that would flop big time.

It could be argued however, that it wasn’t really hard to pick the drama’s that would fail as it was seemingly obvious to everyone but ITV themselves. So it may come as no surprise to you to learn that we confidential predicted in November that Britannia High wouldn’t return for a second season…two months on and Digital Spy are reporting just that.

Yes a full two months later and Digital Spy are quoting a source at ITV saying that Britannia High didn’t capture the audience’s imagination and wasn’t returning for a second outing. Of course it isn’t the first time that Digital Spy has been rather slow reporting a show’s demise. In October of last year we reported on the axing of BBC Three sitcom Pulling but it wasn’t until December, three months later, that Digital Spy reported the show’s cancellation.
