Preparations for Canadian Grand Prix begin in Montreal later this week, Sky Sports will be there for the warm up action.
Drivers will get their first taste of the season of the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve as the opening two practice sessions ahead of the 2013 Canadian Grand Prix take place.
Sky Sports F1 will show these sessions, as well as the final practice run, the qualifying and the race itself, live. The track, named after the late Canadian driver Gilles Villeneuve, will test every element of a Formula 1 driver’s repertoire.
The most notable challenge is L’épingle corner. Racers must dramatically reduce their speed to negotiate a tight hairpin before flying up the gears on a lengthy straight.
Formula 1 – Canada Practice Session One airs on Friday the 7th of June from 2.45pm on Sky Sports F1.
Formula 1 – Canada Practice Session Two airs on Friday June 7th at 6.45pm on Sky Sports F1.
The days proceedings will be rounded up on The F1 Show which will also be live from the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve ahead of the race. Along with all the reaction from the opening two practice sessions, there will be plenty of build-up to Sunday’s grand prix including interviews with some of the top drivers and experts.
The F1 Show airs at 11pm on Friday the 7th of June again on Sky Sports F1.
