BBC One’s critically acclaimed and ratings winning New Tricks continues its 7th series tonight starring Amanda Redman, Alun Armstrong, James Bolam and Dennis Waterman.
A rape at a bakery is connected to similar attacks at a chocolate factory ten years ago – the team decide to reopen the previous cases and investigate. . As the team begin the investigation into the rape the victim’s story bares similarities to those ten years before – they never saw the victim but there was a distinct smell. The team decide to visit the previous two victims to see if they can provide any new details but Jean Saunders has since died and the other victim, Eileen, has become a recluse since the attack. The investigation pushes the time to the limit as it turns into a murder investigation….
