Dave, forever in the shadow of his older brother Steve, drinks heavily but it isn’t long before his drinking begins to cause serious consequences.

Moving On – Rules of the Game. BBC One at 2.15pm.

Dave Farrow is the life and soul of any party; always the first to the and always the last to leave. Dave is also forever in the shadow of his footballer brother, Steven. A fight between the two after a heavy drinking sessions results in the brothers paying a trip of to the local A&E department where Dave spots Ruth, a pretty nurse. But Dave realises to Ruth he is nothing more than a no-good drinker.

In the members bar after a match Dave is once again knocking back the free drinks and ends up arguing with Kaycee, Steve’s girlfriend. When Steve invites Kaycee and her friends for a meal he makes it clear to his brother he isn’t welcome. So Dave decides to smarten himself up and even manages to get a date from the nurse Ruth but it doesn’t go well when she discovers he’s been heavily drinking beforehand…..
