Man Utd chosen for ITV’s Live match for Champions League Matchday six.
ITV have picked United over City in the final matchday of the group stages for this year’s Champions League.
After last night’s games, Manchester City now are on the brink of elimination after a 2-1 defeat away to Napoli, therefore their big game against Bayern Munich (although could be academic) will be shown on Sky Sports rather than on Terrestrial TV.
On paper Manchester United against Swiss team FC Basel looks very unattractive but both teams can qualify or go out of the Champions League in a very tight group, that Sir Alex Ferguson’s side has surprisingly found the group stages tough this season so far with three draws, including last nights 2-2 draw with Benfica.
As well as Man City, Sky as per normal will have the rest of the Champions League games over Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th December
