Goodbye GMTV, Hello Daybreak (again)

ITV have released their publicity photos for ITV1’s new breakfast show Daybreak, which launches next week. The new show replaces long running GMTV, which has been a continuous form of television comfort for early risers since January 1993. Daybreak as a breakfast brand was first mooted in 1979 by ATV [pictured left] and later used by TV-am, the original ITV breakfast broadcaster, in 1983.
