Pipkins – Volume 3

The third and final release of Pipkins brings more of the best episodes from the long running ATV children’s series that aired on ITV from 1973 to 1981.

Topov, Pig, Tortoise, Octavia the Ostrich and, of course, the irrepressible Hartley Hare spend their time helping out people, usually with unforeseen results! Due to the success of the first two releases, Network are proud to present this two disc set of 16 episodes of the best of what remains in the archives.

Hartley Hare adds:

As you obviously enjoyed the previous volumes so much, I’ve selected a further batch of classic episodes for you, including an appearance in Inigo Pipkin [the original 1973 pilot series] and the first episode of Pipkins itself, where Johnny has to give us some bad news…

Special Features

Pipkins started life as ‘Inigo Pipkin’ originally in 1973 with George Woodbridge playing Mr (Inigo) Pipkin the puppet maker. Unfortunately George died during the recording of the second series and so the show became Pipkins. Extras on Disc One include remaining extracts from the first Inigo series as well as PDF material.

Disc Two includes another lost episode, ‘It’s Not Fair’ is an almost complete episode from 1976.
