And so the Iceland speculation begins

With yesterday’s announcement that Kerry Katona is no longer the face of supermarket chain Iceland the tabloids have begun speculating who will replace the troubled star. Typically they are “tipping” completely different names to land the deal.

Who will replace Kerry Katona as the new mum who shops at Iceland? Like many people actually care but it’s the silly season and the papers/news sites need something trivial to report about. So rather typically they are pulling names out of a hat at random and “tipping” them to take over from Kerry Katona. So who will replace the troubled star? Well according to Digital Spy Kym Marsh, of Coronation Street, is an early favourite. However, The Mirror is “tipping” Charlotte Church or Coleen Nolan to take over. While both articles do mention the other person is in the running both are reporting that their choice is the front runner.

 You have to feel sorry, or maybe they are lucky, that Suzanna Shaw, Katie Price, Carol Voderman, Fern Britton and Carol Thatcher are yet to be named as the favourite and are merely demoted to being ‘runners up’.
