This week’s video is inspired by our Silly News story from our previous issue. Some of you are obviously Spitting Image fans as you emailed in and suggested we dig out clips on You Tube spoofing Ronald Regan. So we did just that and found the clip for this week’s Top You Tube Video. This week’s story concerns Fiona Phillips who now seems to regret quitting GMTV. Sadly for her we doubt many share her sentiment.

Top You Tube Video!
As our introduction says this week’s video is inspired by our story from last week. Way back in the 1980s Central Television used to produce the brilliant Spitting Image which spooked and lampooned everyone and anyone. Amongst their regular targets, for which they are still remembered for, were our own Prime Minister of the time – Margaret Thatcher – and the American President, one Ronald Regan. Each week Spitting Image would make the President the butt of their jokes and so here is a clip demonstrating just that!

Top Silly Story:
Do you remember Fiona Phillips? Former occupier of the GMTV sofa. Appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Apprentice and bitched about them both in her newspaper column. Wasn’t entirely popular with viewers of GMTV or the readers of various internet chat-rooms. Recently appeared on Loose Women but er didn’t make a brilliant impression on the other panellists – and that’s saying something. They have anything on that panel! Even Kerry Katona was on it at one stage!
Well it seems that Fiona regrets quitting GMTV now as the job offers are running a little bit low on the ground. We’re not sure the viewers regret her leaving but we will give Fiona a little piece of advice – McDonalds are always hiring.
