Official Release: BBC F1 2012 Team

The BBC have officially announced their Formula 1 team for 2012.

Bits and pieces of information have came out in the F1 off season after many of their TV and Radio talent including Martin Brundle, Ted Kravitz, David Croft, Antony Davidson and Natalie Pinkham are defected to Sky.

For the BBC in 2012 Jake Humphrey remains with the corporation with Eddie Jordan alongside as main pundit. David Coulthard remains as a pundit and co-commentator but for 2012 he will work alongside Ben Edwards, who we announced on ATV Today last month was to take over from Martin Brundle to become main commentator.

Gary Anderson, Ex Jordan Technical director and broadcaster with RTE and Setanta Ireland, takes over Ted Kravitz job in the pits with Lee McKenzie.

For Radio 5 live, ATV Today told you last week James Allen takes over from David Croft as commentator, it is unclear who will be his co-commentator. Suggestions it could be Karun Chandhok, Maurice Hamilton or other 2012 F1 test drivers in rotation. Jennie Gow, who has been with the BBC for their Moto GP coverage, will take over from Natalie Pinkham in the pitlane.
