ATV Midland News took a look at Easter holiday activities across the Midlands.
In this feature Easter wedding couples are seen standing next to the fountain clock in Chamberlain Square in Birmingham.
Also, a short section of spectators sitting watching a cricket match at Edgbaston at the start of the new season. There is also a sqquence with day trippers at Stratford upon Avon – including boating on the Avon and a girl feeding the swans. People swimming and splashing at Droitwich Lido.
Shots filmed from the miniature train at Dudley Zoo including a keeper with a monkey. Crowds of women arriving at Archbishop Benson Hall in Handsworth for a personal appearance by the singer David Hughes.
The holiday fun continues with Count Basie arriving at the Town Hall in Birmingham for a concert. Crowds at the Lickey Hills including drinkers standing outside the Hare and Hounds pub at Rednal. Finally, crowds of people climbing the footpath up the Lickey Hills and shots of a funfair, Douglas Warth riding on merry-go-round, and children eating candyfloss.
