Cash and Remi finally attempt to sort out their issues, but the conversation stalls when Remi admits he doesn’t think Cash and Eden will last. Later, Tane advises Cash to stop listening to Remi. The only person he should listen to about where he stands with Eden, is Eden. Cash takes this advice on, but decides to show up to Sonny’s party regardless – will it be a step forward or back for he and Remi?

Sonny and Bree are getting ready for the party, but Bree notices when Remi sneaks in the door and heads straight for his room. He admits he and Cash are still unresolved, then bails from the party, claiming to have session work lined up.

Eden reminds him he’ll have to hang out with them eventually though. As the party wraps up, Sonny and Bree get the chance to get to know each other, and she asks what the story is with him and Remi’s friendship. He tells her they grew up together, and when his parents lost all their money, Remi was one of the few people that looked out for him. He shares that Remi sold his bike so that Sonny could have money to get away and see the world, somehow knowing exactly what he needed to find his feet again. The next morning, Sonny treats Theo to breakfast – with Remi’s credit card – and offers him some financial advice. He suggests Theo gets a side hustle to help pay his car loan. But is Sonny really the best person to take financial advice from?

Still worked up from his conflict with Remi, Cash confronts Tane, bluntly telling him he won’t do the best man speech at his and Harper’s wedding. He won’t make up a bunch of lies about how Tane and Harper are in love when they’re not. So, maybe he’s not the right man for the job.

But just as they’re about to leave, Paul calls with news—Nell has confessed, and Leo is in the clear. The three of them return, and Leo rushes to comfort Nell, promising they’ll get through it together. Overwhelmed, Leo finally breaks down, relieved he’s not going to prison. Although Susan is concerned about how fast the relationship is moving, she softens. But when Darcy shares this with Chelsea, she’s visibly uncomfortable with how intense things are. Later, when Remi points out how full-on Darcy seems, Chelsea agrees—it’s clear she’s not as all-in as he is.
