Anne Diamond, now a regular presenter on GB News, back on this day in 1981 asked people if they were proud to be British.

Diamond asked people in Coventry why they are proud to be British – answers included the way of life and our freedoms, also the Royal Family how they symbolises British ‘status’, armed forces and British television such as the newscasters and their dress sense!
