Celebrity Big Brother welcomes 2025 famous faces

The stars are arriving at the CBB House live on ITV1 and STV this evening…

The wait is over – Celebrity Big Brother, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, is back for a brand-new series. A new batch of VIPs have this evening began their journey through the original showbiz experiment, taking up residence in the Big Brother house, which has moved to a brand-new location for the forthcoming instalment.

Set to be another unmissable series, viewers can expect tense tasks, nail-biting nominations and gripping gossip as an array of famous faces spill the tea on their life in the spotlight. Who wins? You decide.

The first batch of names to take up residence in the house were Chesney Hawkes, Jojo Siwa, Trisha Goddard, Chris Hughes and Patsy Palmer.

“I’m 53 and I’ve spent 53 years with myself, so I think I know myself pretty well. But I reckon I’m going to learn stuff about myself. If you can reach your mid 50s and there’s potential to do that, then that’s really exciting. And I think I’ll learn some stuff about other celebrities that I didn’t know as well – so that’s interesting. Oh and Tuesday night is the night we put the bins out so I’m looking forward to not doing that.” – Chesney Hawkes

“I’m looking forward to the fact that it’s very much an unknown, to meeting new people, getting to spend time with people who are from very different environments to myself and the whole social experiment behind it – the whole Big Brother experience, really.” – Chris Hughes

“I’m really looking forward to walking through the iconic doors and meeting a group of brand-new people. It’s a fascinating experience and that’s one aspect that excites me. I’m also looking forward to having a break from technology. We all spend so much time on our phones etc so having no access to that will be incredibly refreshing.” – Patsy Palmer

Also joining the line up tonight, Michael Fabricant, Jack P. Shepherd, Ella Rae Wise and Daley Thompson.

“I have a strength for cleaning – I like to clean. I’ll make cups of tea. I’ll wash up. I’m not the best cook but I can cook. And I’m very quiet if I need to be.” – Jack P. Shepherd

“I think the most I’m looking forward to has to be meeting and getting to know new people and learning new things about myself and others, as well and being out of my comfort zone and under pressure, weirdly because I deal with pressure really well. I’m quite relaxed but it might be a bit different being in a house with loads of people that I normally wouldn’t spend time with, or know in normal day to day life.” – Ella Rae Wise

“I am looking forward to the challenge of living with total strangers and getting to know them and hearing all their stories. I will definitely miss all of my family and friends [while I’m] in there.” – Daley Thompson

“I can’t say how I’ll get on with [the fellow housemates] – I have no idea. And what’s likely to annoy me? I’m intolerant of intolerance…” – Tisha Goddard

ITV1 and STV viewers also saw the arrival of Donna Preston, Angellica Bell, Danny Beard and Mickey Rourke.

“I have no expectations. I’ve never seen it. I’m just going to go in, do my thing, and we’ll see.” – Mickey Rourke

“I’m really looking forward to meeting a cross section of people – people you wouldn’t necessarily have the opportunity to sit down and just chew the cud with. I like to be kept on my toes and I know BB likes to throw in curve balls but I’m also looking forward to a bit of dressing up, role playing and generally having a bit of fun – just being silly. I’m all about enjoying the moment and having a good time. To sum it up, the general experience – it’s Big Brother. It’s iconic.” – Angellica Bell

“[I’m going to miss] Mr Bigs – my cat. I can’t handle it. In my head, I’ve just got to survive a week – because I’m doing this for Mr Bigs. If I don’t get paid, he doesn’t get the beef. He’s got a great life and I just love our morning cuddles. Oh, and of course I’m also going to miss my friends and family, of course. But it’s definitely going to be Mr Bigs.” – Donna Preston

“I’m looking forward to meeting people from all different walks of life that I just probably would never meet or mix with. And I’m a massive super fan of the show so I’m looking forward to secret tasks, getting dressed up in ridiculous outfits, face-to-face nominations. I want the full Big Brother experience! I will miss Fanny the most. Fanny’s my dog BTW, she is my world!
