Today’s storylines from the UK and Australian soaps….

Ross encourages Vicki to reach out to Sharon for some cash, but after talking with Kathy about Sharon’s recent struggles, Vicki changes her mind and decides to focus on Ian instead. At Beales Eels, Vicki fabricates a story about her financial troubles and asks Ian for a loan.

Later at the Boxing Den, Sharon confronts Vicki after Ian fills her in, but Vicki brushes off her concerns.

Meanwhile, Peter heads back to the flat for a crisis talk with Lauren.

Elsewhere, Bianca tells Sonia about the interview request, but Sonia is adamant it’s a bad idea. They are distracted by the return of Bex, who is back for Martin’s funeral.

Bex asks Sonia to accompany her at the undertakers to say goodbye to Martin, but an overcome Sonia can’t  bring herself to go.

Elsewhere, Joel continues to acquaint himself with the locals as Ross attempts to introduce himself to Vicki’s wider family.

The family are finally allowed to see Dee Dee but she appears upset when James says he would like to call the baby Laila.

With the boys gone, Ed is shocked when Dee-Dee tells him she has had to have an emergency hysterectomy and won’t be able to have children. Ed implores her to think very carefully about whether she is able to give up her baby. When James finds out, he knows this could change everything.

Lauren visits Dee-Dee to tell her Frankie’s operation has been a success but she is shocked by Dee-Dee’s reaction. As Dee-Dee finally makes her decision about Laila’s future, James gets a text that could change everything.

Meanwhile, Gemma and Chesney’s friendship with Mick and Lou grows as the new couple offer Gemma their old TV and the use of their roof box for their trip away with the kids. But Mick continues to goad Ronnie, who warns Gemma and Chesney to watch their backs as Mick isn’t all he seems.

As Mick heads off, Ronnie slashes a tyre on his van but Debbie has seen everything.  In The Rovers, Mick insists he wants paying for the work he has done and to the damage to his van as he caught Ronnie on the van’s CCTV.

Elsewhere, Kevin is anxious when Abi has to leave him having his chemo session because Alfie is ill at nursery. Julie finds an upset Kevin on the bench outside the hospital and suggests they get the tram home together. At the same time, an anxious Abi can’t get hold of Kevin and is cross when she realises he was with Julie and didn’t tell her.

Also, a delighted Daisy and Christina continue to reel in Jenny as she reveals she has met a great guy called Dom on the dating app. They up the ante with a bouquet of flowers and Christina sends another message. Daisy worries that very soon Jenny is going to want to meet up with Dom in the flesh.

One of the pub’s windows is smashed. Liam and Chas are certain that Ella is behind it, unaware that Ella is watching them.

Meanwhile, Jimmy gives Eric some hope.

Elsewhere, Marlon’s heart sinks as Rhona discovers the tracking device. She urges him to give April the freedom she wants, so Marlon is left with a decision to make.

Also, Nicola is left gobsmacked to hear Brenda is taking Cathy on the cruise instead.

Eden is awake, and in the process of detoxing after being attacked by Nerida with a syringe full of ketamine. Remi is by her side, and stands his ground when Cash arrives, protective of his friend after all the pain he has brought her. After being asked to leave by Remi, Cash agrees, his heart heavy. Then, when Eden asks for him, Remi denies all knowledge of where he is.

Justin and Theo brace themselves to break bad news to Mackenzie, who is hoping a Lyrik gig might bring people back to Salt. At their meeting, Mackenzie is ready to push forward and set some deadlines, however Justin apologises, and informs her there won’t be a gig. Mackenzie, unfortunately, is not surprised. She attempts to postpone their performance by a month, leading Justin to reveal he thinks this is the end of the line for Lyrik, news to Theo. He’s disappointed, and Justin challenges him to prove him wrong. With Alf later, Justin admits he fears he’ll feel lost if Lyrik really do break up. Theo similarly confides in Mackenzie – without the band, what is he left with?

John can’t help himself and reveals to Alf and Marilyn that he’s been asked to officiate a wedding. He admits that unfortunately this one won’t be anything fancy. Marilyn finally caves and asks who the happy couple is, and she’s thrilled when John announces that it’s Tane and Harper – she’s been backing them all the way from the start. Later, Marilyn clocks that John doesn’t seem as swept away as he normally would be, and John admits he has a really bad feeling about this wedding.

Eden arrives home with Remi, who gives her a talking-to about Cash. She reveals to him that they kissed, and he puts the pieces together about when… While Tim was in a coma. As they bicker, Eden realises that Remi is the reason why Cash didn’t return from his coffee run. When Cash arrives with some food, Remi storms out, feeling powerless to protect Eden. Cash, meanwhile, updates Eden on the case against Nerida, as well as the advice that Tim gave him – not to waste his second chance with her.

As they continue talking, Cash takes full responsibility for what happened between them, and Eden admits she’s scared to say the wrong thing – what if something goes wrong and he leaves again? They agree they need to be sure before they commit to trying again – neither of them could handle it if they fell apart this time. Later though, Eden turns up on his doorstep – he’s right, she can’t take it. So, let’s do it right this time.

Home and Away airs 1:45pm on Channel 5, at 6pm on 5STAR with first-look screenings of the following edition at 6:30 pm. The series also streams on 5.

Leo’s nearest and dearest are elated that he’s off the hook now that Fallon has confessed. As celebrations ensue, Leo regrets lashing out at Krista, but she doesn’t let it stop her from showing him she’s still her sole focus. After he reveals he’s ready to start working on their relationship, an elated Krista can’t help but feel like things may be finally taking a positive turn. But just as Leo is poised to enjoy his newly restored freedom, bad news gets in the way…

Taye refuses to believe Fallon killed Seb, even when Fallon explains her version of events that night and urges him to accept this reality. With Cara’s help, Taye tries to prove Fallon is innocent. A favour Taye did for fellow Lassiters employee Bradley leads to the discovery that other hotel staff used empty hotel rooms on the night Seb died. Taye canvasses his colleagues, hoping someone saw Fallon that night and can vouch for her.

This prospect fizzles out, but Cara remembers getting a text from a staff member who needed help with the wifi that night. A photo sent to Cara includes Fallon’s phone on a list of available networks at the time Seb died, meaning Fallon was in Lassiters. Cara and Taye rush the new evidence to the police, who after re-interviewing Fallon, release her when she admits her confession was a lie.

While the news spreads, Fallon decides the best thing for herself, Krista and Leo is that she leave town, a decision both Krista and Leo support…

When Paul learns that Chelsea’s car is in poor enough condition to be written off, he insists on buying her a new one that ensures her and Thomas’ safety. The car-shopping that ensues rapidly burns through Terese’s patience for Chelsea. When Terese tries to wrangle some couple time (a picnic with Paul), he puts his foot in it by inviting Chelsea. Realising Terese’s annoyance at this, Paul gently revokes the invite to relax with Terese. But their couple time is quickly curtailed by the news about Fallon, and Paul is livid that Cara has stuck her nose in his family’s business – telling her as much with some very sharp words.

Determined to thank Darcy for helping Karl, the Kennedys plan to introduce him to some potential investors for his health centre. But Karl is ruffled as his reputation starts taking a hit amongst Eirini residents, who are cancelling their appointments with him. When Karl finds one such resident, Moira, is besotted with Darcy, Karl begins feeling envious of Darcy’s rising popularity.

With the voices is his head getting louder, Lenny continues the pretence that he’s getting better. Alone at Amber Cabs, Lenny’s stunned when the mysterious voice makes themselves known – Brooke Shaw back from the dead.

Disturbed by this surreal sight in front of him, Lenny struggles to assert she isn’t real, but Shaw assures Lenny she’s there to help him – in fact, his life depends on it. Planting the seed of doubt about Alex and his family, Shaw stirs up Lenny’s insecurities, leaving him shaken.

Elsewhere, Drew spots an opportunity to spend some alone time with Karen. Their flirtatious meeting is noted by Kelly-Marie as they slope off together. However, Drew is taken aback when Karen has a change of heart about their relationship, fearing Caitlin will be crushed to find out her son and friend are together.

Back at the market, with Caitlin approaching, Kelly-Marie steps in to keep Karen’s secret fling with Drew hidden.

Still embarrassed after her kiss with Conor, Chloe turns to Maggie for advice, reluctantly admitting she’s got feelings for her baby daddy. However, while Chloe feels it’s right to come clean to Conor that she deliberately used him to get pregnant, Maggie urges caution – honesty will do more harm than good.

Marie has a confession to make, but what about? Tommy offers Joel an appointment later that day and takes Joel’s side in a disagreement he’s having with wife Leela, she decides action is needed.

During a therapy session with Tommy, Jez admits he’s battling with his emotions supporting Sienna. In the Grand Bazaar Jez and Martha fawn over Sienna as her health fears grow while Grace is panic stricken to realise Curtis has gone missing.

In Casa McQueen, Kathleen-Angel is happy to see Ro and asks him to join her for lunch. The youngsters grow closer. Ro confides in her about his new online friend Nina.
