Give ’em the old razzle dazzle…
On Thursday night, stars and VIP guests, including Alexandra Burke, Gillian McKeith, Ali Bromley, Will Mellor and Charlotte Berman stepped into the glamorous world of Roxie Rocks Chicago at The London Cabaret Club, celebrating the launch of this bold reimagining of the popular period musical Chicago.
Currently unfolding at London’s longest-running cabaret, set within the stunning 1920s art deco surrounds of The Bloomsbury Ballroom, the immersive theatrical spectacle is offering guests a first look at the show’s seamless blend of live music, high-energy dance, captivating storytelling and jaw-dropping circus performances, all delivered with The London Cabaret Club’s signature flair.
Before taking their seats, guests have been treated to pre-show drinks and a decadent gourmet menu inspired by the era, with the excitement continuing at an exclusive after-party on Thursday night.

Among the special guests enjoying the evening were Alexandra Burke, Gillian McKeith, Big Brother winner Ali Bromley, actor Will Mellor, The Traitors star Charlotte Berman, and Bianca Gascoigne soaking up every twist and turn of Roxie Hart’s rise to fame, from her ruthless manipulations to her ever-shifting fantasies, vividly brought to life through a fusion of cabaret, circus, dance and live music.
Highlights from the event included Billy Flynn’s dazzling ‘Ventriloquist’s Act’ courtroom scene, transforming Roxie’s trial into a theatrical spectacle, a haunting ballet solo depicting the fate of Roxie’s fellow inmate, the Hungarian woman and Roxie and Velma’s showstopping duet, closing the first act with a glamorous reflection on fame and fortune.
