Peter Dinklage joins Dexter: Resurrection

Peter Dinklage will join the cast of the drama series which stars Michael C. Hall in the titular role of Dexter Morgan.

Dinklage will play the series regular role of Leon Prater, a billionaire venture capitalist. To the world, Leon is a generous philanthropist, but behind his polished exterior lies dark intrigue. Previously announced cast included Uma Thurman, David Zayas, James Remar and Jack Alcott. 

Production for Dexter: Resurrection kicked off in January 2025 in New York and the series is set to launch this summer on Paramount+. 

Most recently, Dexter: Original Sin, a prequel series that follows Dexter (played by Patrick Gibson) as he transitions from student to serial killer, debuted in December of last year and delivered the most- streamed Showtime premiere in history with more than 2.1M global cross-platform viewers. The series is now streaming on Paramount+.
