Crossing paths with Clint in the school, Jane thrills at the electricity between them, already imagining their next meet up. But her joy is short-lived when she hears Terese has had noise complaints from Eirini residents regarding the vacant apartment Jane and Clint used as their love nest.
Jane’s further thrown when Aaron puts the puzzle pieces together and realizes what’s put the new pep in Jane’s step. She swears him to secrecy, fearing the ramifications if word got out about her steamy new affair. Clearly Jane’s going to struggle to keep her passion for Clint under wraps. While Holly assumes it’s a total bust, Paul surprises her by revealing she’s impressed him with how she managed each disastrous development. To Holly’s delight, Paul declares she’s back in the running for the job.

Holly also abandons the drink before she can take a sip, and it ends up with already-tipsy Aaron. He drinks it, unaware of the danger he’s in. As the night ends, only Aaron is keen to kick on. Misinterpreting his odd behaviour as a put-on, the others head home.
But the drugs begin to have an effect. AFfter a burger fix, Aaron encounters Clint and his unusual aggressive behaviour causing Clint to give him a wide berth. The next day, still under the influence of the drug, Aaron wakes on the grass behind The Tram. Stumbling onto the road, he narrowly avoids being hit by a car. Autopilot leads him back to his former home at Number Thirty-Two. Disoriented and confused, he gravitates towards the spa. Half-clothed, he climbs in, quickly sliding towards sleep, submersion…
Remi demands to know how long Taye is staying is, and he fires back that he doesn’t owe her an itinerary. They’re locked in an argument when Ken, their father, arrives unexpectedly, to take Taye home to Apollo Bay. Taye insists he’s staying in Erinsborough, and Remi is taken aback when Taye confesses that he admires the life Remi has made for herself, and he wants to be a part of it. She wonders why he’s never told her this before, and Taye says it’s because Remi’s always made it clear she doesn’t want anything to do with him.
Remi argues this isn’t true… and suddenly it’s revealed that Ken has been the one who has been keeping them apart over the years. After an argument, Taye and Remi decide to give living together a go.
Jane and Clint are both mortified when a condom is discovered in the unit at Eirini Rising they’ve been using for sex. Holly’s certain she’s a shoo-in for the new job at the Piano Bar at Lassiters… but there’s a surprise in store for her… Taye gets the job.

Having found out who Tim is, Cash plays hard cop when he pulls him over – with Eden in the passenger’s seat
Dana is not willing to accept that her friendship with John could be over, but he rebuffs her attempts to make things right – from now on, she’s just a volunteer and he’s her manager. She vents her deep regret to Xander, while John is short with Alf and Marilyn at the diner – it’s clear he’s still hurt and has his spurned protégé front of mind. Dana takes another blow when she sees that he has rostered them on different shifts. The tension does not go unnoticed by Alf, who calls a meeting to put an end to the nonsense between them. Can he convince John and Dana to get back on the same page?
Harper and Tane take things to the bedroom following their heated kiss, but he’s surprised when she abruptly calls time on things and takes off. He unpacks with Remi – did Harper withdraw because she thought he was using her? When Remi asks if he was, he comes up blank, and Remi suggests he can’t blame Harper for being confused if he doesn’t know himself. Bree meanwhile calls Dana to support Harper, and once alone with her sister she crumbles into tears. She admits she fears Tane only wanted comfort, but Dana suggests she needs the truth – she needs to talk to Tane.
Alf has sat John and Dana down to hammer out a peace treaty, but John resents being put on the spot and maintains there’s nothing to fix. Roo is keen to see if she can get through to him, and she takes John out for dinner – her shout! It’s music to John’s ears until Dana shows up, but when Roo leaves them to it, he reluctantly lets her join him. Alone together, Dana tells her mentor how much he has meant to her, and John agrees he feels the same way – that’s why it hurt so much that she could think so little of him. She promises not to jump to conclusions, and he says he will give her the benefit of the doubt. Finally on a good page, they decide to order every dessert on the menu – that should teach Roo not to meddle!
Levi is rattled after Abigail’s threats to leave the Bay, and he tells Mackenzie that the only one who seemed to get through to her was Tim. He asks Eden to get Tim to talk to her, but she says they broke up, and she had no idea he’d dropped Abby as a client. Frustrated, he tells her not to worry about it – he’ll talk to Tim himself. When he does, he pleads the counsellor to intervene with Abigail, and Tim agrees to talk to her. He refers her to another counsellor and urges her to give it a go, and Levi’s relieved when he gets word that she has an appointment.
Cash approaches Eden at Salt and asks if they can work through the awkwardness between them, but she reminds him they would be planning their wedding right now if he hadn’t dumped her. So, to answer his question, no. They can’t be friends. Mackenzie checks in with him after witnessing their tension but gives Cash a timely reality check – he broke Eden’s heart.

A confrontational Cash barges into the Share House, seeking answers from Remi about Tim and Eden
Abigail refuses to hear an apology from Eden and Tim, but reveals she found out about them from Cash. Eden realises he must have targeted Tim deliberately and accuses her ex of harassment – today is evidence she made the right choice, so please leave her alone. Later, Rose catches Cash using the police database to look up Tim’s history, and reprimands him for breaking the law at work. When she challenges him on his jealousy, Cash is adamant – he made a huge sacrifice to not be with Eden and it cannot be for nothing.
Theo confides in Justin and Leah about being lied to and confronts Mali. He must have known Tim was her counsellor, not her boyfriend. So why did he feel the need to lie? Mali convinces Theo he only lied to protect Abigail, and Theo accepts that. Later, Theo is expressing doubts about Abigail to Justin when she interrupts them, in tears – can they go for a drive? Bree is pleased to see Remi when he returns from his parents’, but she still doesn’t understand the reason for the trip. Remi isn’t forthcoming, either – “It’s complicated”. When she finally gets it out of him, it’s a bombshell – his trust fund has landed in his account. And it’s not just enough for the holiday in Greece that Bree envisions – it’s five million dollars.
Justin’s curiosity is piqued when he learns Theo and Abigail are on a date, but Leah attempts to curb his concerns – a new romance could be good for Theo. Kirby, meanwhile, presses Mali over his own feelings for Abigail. It’s nice that he’s being so caring, she tells him, but she doesn’t think Abigail is as fragile as people seem to think. Will Mali pursue his crush?
Roo is now officially secretary of the Surf Club, but before she can throw herself into the new role, Alf comes knocking with a crisis – the landlords have stung him with a rent increase at the bait shop, and he reckons they’re trying to get rid of him. Alf isn’t one to go down without a fight and promises to give it to them with both barrels, but the real estate tells him it’s nonnegotiable – the rent is going up. Alf admits to Roo that he doesn’t know how much fight he has in him, but Roo assures him – she has enough fight for them both.
