Having just graduated from high school, she was set to spend the summer in Spain, instead she seemed to have vanished off the face of the earth – just minutes from her house. Since then, the case has puzzled and intrigued the whole of Poland.
Was she kidnapped? Or murdered? Or did she choose to disappear? Over the years these and more questions have been raised but no answers have ever been found.
This intriguing three-part documentary examines the pieces of the puzzle in a completely new light. From the policeman who claims the perpetrator can be identified, to the online community and journalists who have formed their own theories and Iwona’s mother, who, determined to find her daughter, will never give up her search.
