As she awaits news from the police about the new evidence in her case, Cindy clashes with Ian over her latest accusations. Cindy tries to make peace at home by staging a truce dinner but things go sour when her true motivations are revealed.
Later, Cindy realises her locket has gone and reasons that the person who attacked her must have taken it after hitting her.
Meanwhile, Nigel gets ready for a date with Norma with help from Yolande. When Norma arrives at The Vic, she’s brought her friend Livi with her. Nigel asks reluctant Phil to join them, but things quickly turn sour when Livi spots Phil’s low mood. Phil rushes off, and Nigel is going to go after him, but he decides to have dinner with Norma instead.
At The Arches, Phil’s actions put him in serious danger.
Elsewhere, Lauren goes to see Sonia to voice her concerns about Bianca’s ‘confession’, saying she knows Sonia also doubts that Bianca killed Debbie.
Also, the relationship between Ravi and Nugget takes another knock; Priya become suspicious after witnessing a ‘business’ chat between Ravi and Nicola; and Ruby is upset when Martin wants to share an exciting life development with Stacey.

As David makes a call to Andy to arrange a time for their plan, Nick reminds him that it’s Sarah’s birthday party, unaware that Logan is listening in.
Sarah expresses her concern to Nick about Harvey finding out that all the Platts will be gathered in one location, making them an easy target. Going ahead with his plan, David lies to Sarah that he’s at a client’s house and won’t be attending her party.
Meanwhile, when Sam suggests Abi brings Alfie to Sarah’s party after the car incident, Abi is furious to realise it was Toyah who reported her.
After finding Harry in the Bistro office watching Hope’s livestream of a séance from No.8 with Ruby, Lily and Sam, Toyah bursts in and orders the kids out. Hearing about the livestream from Jack, Abi lets herself in and rounds on Toyah for calling social services. As Toyah accidentally knocks over a bottle of red wine, Abi is reminded of Seb covered in blood and suffers a panic attack. Toyah reaches out to Abi but in her confused state, Abi smacks her.
Someone approaches No.8 and pushes a burning rag through the letterbox. After smelling burning, Sally announces the fire to the Bistro. Worried that Lily may be in the house, Shona, Max and Nick head in.
Nick finds Toyah unconscious on the floor as Shona and Max head upstairs. Finding out Lily is safe; Shona finds David on the street and tells him that Max is trapped. As they head back up the path, suddenly No.8 explodes. Will Max survive?
Elsewhere, when Tracy reveals that she can’t get hold of Amy, Steve thinks she spent the night at the party. Leanne tries to persuade Steve to join her for a boozy afternoon, but is left disappointed when he’s not keen.
Amy explains to Steve and Tracy that she left several messages but her phone died, lost her car keys and spent the night wandering the streets as a guilty Steve makes out he had an early night.

Ross reminds Marlon of the impact he’s having on his family. He encourages an emotional Marlon to explain why he has a black eye. Marlon recounts how he got tricked into giving away his money and got his black eye. Ross expresses concerns over Marlon’s mental state.
Later, the arrival of PC Swirling immediately worries Marlon and Rhona. They are left fearing the worst when he asks them to sit down, before revealing that April has been found.
Meanwhile, Cain denies Caleb’s accusation over sleeping with Ruby, but he pushes to find out where the intel came from. Caleb awkwardly tells Cain that it was Anthony who suggested Cain had an affair with Ruby. Can Cain keep his guilty secret and what does Caleb confess?
Elsewhere, demonstrating his painkiller withdrawal to get close to Dawn, Joe is encouraged he’s making progress with her. The moment is broken when Kim arrives. Kim has noticed Joe’s amorous run-ins with Dawn, but he uses his painkiller story to quell her suspicions, which she seemingly accepts.
Noah is worried about the bad reviews that he’s receiving online. Joe, who’s secretly posting them, promises that the negative attention won’t affect him.
Also, dressed to impress, Sarah is looking forward to a night out with Jacob.
