Pick of the Plots: Tuesday 21st January

The Knights question Ian’s motives, and Gina and Anna persuade their dad to have a chat with Cindy.

Ian won’t allow George to see Cindy, so Elaine comes up with a plan to get Ian out of the way by luring him to The Vic. Before long, Ian figures out he’s been tricked and rushes home, only to find George trying to sway Cindy against him. Tensions rise between them, and George lashes out at Ian.

Back at The Vic, Elaine follows George as he retreats to the barrel store to let out his anger. George makes a discovery that stops him in his tracks.

Meanwhile, Reiss heads to the lockup to visit Bianca. He breaks down before revealing all about Sonia’s predicament. Bianca is incredulous and makes a desperate plea.

Elsewhere, Martin is stressed when the meeting with the councillor about the market gets brought forward. Ruby offers to step in on his behalf.

Later, the meeting gets underway at the community centre and the residents make their feelings known. Things take a turn when Ruby clashes with Councillor Barker.

Also, Nicola attempts to wind up Teddy, but her plan backfires.

A gunshot rings out as someone takes revenge against Anthony.

Meanwhile, having successfully completed her first assignment, Dawn’s sense of triumph at making a good impression on Kim is short-lived after she hears how the job was all Joe’s idea.

Dawn fumes and confronts Joe over it, but they end up kissing passionately.
