The Travelling Auctioneers returns to BBC One

BBC daytime series, The Travelling Auctioneers, returns to screens with four fresh faces are joining the much-loved presenting gang for series three…

Restoration maestros JJ Chalmers and Robin Johnson are getting back in the iconic blue auction van and will once again be accompanied by auctioneering expert Izzie Balmer, while original Travelling Auctioneer Christina Trevanion will narrate the series.

And the TA family will be joined on the road by a brand-new crew made up of two charismatic auctioneers – James “JB” Broad and Briony “Bee” Harford – and two talented restorers – Lauren Wood and Saf Fäkir.

The twenty-episode series follow the gang as they split off into pairs and take their travelling auction house and workshop out on the road across the UK. Along the way, they unearth hidden gems and turn unwanted items into winning lots.

Sifting through one family home at a time, the team must first identify the items with the biggest selling appeal. Izzie, JB and Bee then call on their auctioneer contacts and expertise, while JJ, Robin, Lauren and Saf use their incredible craft and restoration skills to bring new life to neglected treasures – ready for a thrilling on-site auction at the end of each episode.
