Pick of the Plots: Tuesday 10th December

Phil orders Nicola to leave. Nicola tries manipulating Sharon with what she has seen to drive a wedge between her and Teddy. Sharon heads to see Phil, who brushes off Nicola’s story, but Sharon can see something is wrong.

Back at the bar, Nicola continues to stir things by telling Teddy that Sharon and Phil kissed a while back and that she is with him now. Nicola tells Teddy she’s changed and wants to put their marriage back together. Later, determined to keep up the pressure, Nicola pays Phil another visit.

Meanwhile, after a dressing down from Sharon, Linda is on her way home when she has a nasty encounter with Bernie. Heading to the Minute Mart, Linda tries to buy booze but when Alfie won’t sell it to her, she just takes it.

Alfie reports back to Johnny before discovering that Sharon’s place has been broken into after Linda left the door open. Sharon arrives home to find she’s been robbed,

Cain has lied about his whereabouts to spend the night away from Moira, still struggling with his conscience. His disappearing act means that Moira prepares to receive her pathology results alone.

Cain tries to rectify the situation by rushing to the hospital but is stopped by PC Swirling. Agitated Cain tries to get a move on, but his aggressive approach leads to an untimely arrest.

Meanwhile, Anthony confronts Caleb about his affair.

Elsewhere, Jimmy is rattled by Tom’s letter and sees through the attempt to manipulate them all.

Freddie promises Grace that he won’t leave her and swears that he hasn’t cheated on her… with Mercedes.

In the village, Freddie tells Mercedes the gift has got him thinking, but before he can say any more, Grace finds them. At Casa McQueen, Frankie asks Vicky what’s wrong, but she keeps tight lipped.

Meanwhile, Cleo and Abe’s craft hour is interrupted by Peri deciding it’s time for them to move in together, but she receives a frosty reaction from her husband-to-be. Cleo wonders why Abe is feeling distant and he explains that Peri has been hassling him after their break-up and assures her there’s no-one he’d rather be with. He gets a call from Joel and rushes off. Joel surprises Abe with a drink for an impromptu stag do.

Joel invites Peri over in the hope that the pair will make amends. Abe arrives home drunk and while half-asleep, whispers that he loves Peri. A shocked Cleo then notices his mum is ringing. It’s finally clear to her that Marie is alive.

Elsewhere, Vicky is avoiding Robbie. Robbie is worried about his relationship, but Frankie tells him some information.

Theresa tells Jez that she may have an influencing opportunity in Japan, as talent agent Faye Fuller has been in contact. Jez encourages her to go for it. Myra-Pocahontas talks to Jez about missing her dad Dodger, whose birthday it was last week.
