Pete Wicks to face final dance this week?
While some stats suggest the reality star might survive this weekend’s ballroom battle Pete Wicks is the substantial favourite to be the next eliminated from this year’s Strictly Come Dancing with the bookies.
The popular telly personality avoided the dance-off last week, but his days may be numbered as he is 3/5 with BetMGM to be shown the exit door this weekend. Montell Douglas, who narrowly avoided elimination on last week’s episode, is the next closest contender at 5/4 with the leading bookmaker.
UK Director at BetMGM, Sam Behar:
“Pete Wicks looks set for his last dance on Strictly this weekend as we are seeing lots of money on the former TOWIE star to be the next eliminated. He’s currently the heavy favourite to be the next to exit the show at 3/5 with former Olympian Montell Douglas currently at 5/4.”
Wicks however earlier this week had been given a huge boost ahead of the Strictly quarter-final after confirming that he will be performing the Waltz with dance partner Jowita Przystal. Research from SlotsCalendar has revealed that the Waltz has been responsible for just one of the last 71 eliminations, dating back to 2018, making it statistically one of the safety routines to perform in the show.
