England Hockey has announced a new partnership with Channel 4, naming the broadcaster as the Official Broadcast Partner for the FIH Hockey Pro League. This innovative three-year agreement, which extends until 2027, will bring premier international hockey events to UK audiences for free.

Starting in December 2024, Channel 4 will broadcast the FIH Hockey Pro League, featuring all matches of England’s men’s and women’s teams, as well as select high-profile neutral games. Viewers can access this coverage through Channel 4’s various platforms, beginning with its YouTube channel, providing unmatched exposure to one of the most competitive international hockey leagues.

The FIH Hockey Pro League showcases the world’s elite nine men’s and women’s national teams, representing the pinnacle of international hockey. Each year, England hosts a leg of the league in London, and the 2024 edition is set to run from 14–22 June at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. England will take on elite teams from the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, Argentina, and India in a series of matches which promise thrilling action for both die-hard hockey enthusiasts and newcomers to the sport.

England Hockey is on a mission to enhance the visibility, relevance, and accessibility of hockey, and its collaboration with Channel 4 marks a significant stride towards this aim.
