Vicki Michelle ponders two names for I’m a Celebrity win

Former I’m A Celebrity campmate Vicki Michelle has told SlotsCalendar that she believes Reverend Richard Coles is a dark horse to win this year’s series after his late arrival to the camp.

“I think apart from the general favourites, Richard Coles could be a dark horse to win. He’s really funny and a very genuine guy. He seems to be really well liked in camp and was hilarious in the junkyard with Maura when he first arrived. That chat he had with Oti shows he has a heartfelt side to him too, which the public will like and get on board with. I think he’ll go far in the series.”

Despite tipping Richard to go far, Vicki says that the favourite tag belongs with Danny Jones.

“I still reckon Danny Jones is the favourite to win. You can tell he’s a really nice person and is coming along well in the eyes of the public. We haven’t really seen everyone yet and there are such great characters in there, so when more celebrities do the trials we should have a better sense of who’s in a good position to win the series. Things can change, but I think that Danny is a genuinely good person and will be amongst the finalists towards the end of next week.”

Vicki was also asked about Dean McCullough’s audible reactions to trials and told the Radio 1 DJ to “just get on with it”, although she admitted she believes his screaming is authentic.

“I definitely don’t think Dean is putting on the screaming and shouting in the trials. It’s really difficult to not be real or genuine in the show and I think his coping mechanism is to simply scream, even if he knows he can complete the trial.

“What always makes me laugh though, is that these celebrities have signed up for the show – like I did years ago – and they know what they’re going to get, so why moan about getting what you knew was coming for you? Just get on with it and do the job! I think you get a few people who act like they can’t do things, but they know that’s going to happen because the show has been going on for so long!”
