Pick of the Plots: Wednesday 27th November

Cindy is shaken as Lauren arrives and discovers what has happened to Kojo, before calling the emergency services. Cindy insists she is innocent, leading to a heated argument between the two. At The Vic, Peter sets aside his pride and asks Junior for his job back, which Junior agrees to. Soon, Cindy and Lauren arrive to tell George about Kojo. The Knight family hurries to the hospital, tensions running high among them.

Back at No.45, Cindy remains anxious about Kojo and deceives Ian about where she has been, shocking Lauren. Lauren confronts Cindy, viewing to get to the bottom of what she is up to.

Meanwhile, Linda, Kim and Kathy wind Denise up about Jack and Ravi. Jack is jealous when he later sees Denise and Ravi talking. Priya tries to make a move of Jack, much to Denise’s horror, but things don’t go to plan.

Later, a drunk Kathy heads to the café, but she soon gets into cross words with Jean over Harvey. Jean asks Kathy to stay out of her relationship.

Elsewhere, Martin, Harvey, Stacey and Jean head to Walford East for a family meal, but Martin is distracted. Stacey tells Martin he’s making a mistake and heads back to No.31 where she’s greeted by an emotional Ruby.

Jean encourages Martin to continue his fight after sharing some financial news, but it’s not long before she and Harvey come to blows when he questions the legitimacy of her financial advisors.

Lisa sits at Carla’s bedside, willing her to pull through.

Matty’s hauled in for questioning but Alya provides a statement corroborating his alibi. When a smug Matty makes a dig about Becky’s death, Lisa’s furious, convinced he must have had something to do with it.

Meanwhile, Nick tells Toyah he’s got a plan – they break their news to Leanne then go on holiday, leaving her to process it. Toyah insists they wait until after Oliver’s memorial and the trial.

Leanne presents Toyah with a rose bush and suggests they plant it next to Oliver’s tree in memory of Rose. Toyah’s touched, but when Leanne sees the holiday booking on Nick’s laptop, is the game up?

Elsewhere, Shona’s annoyed by David’s unsympathetic response when she admits how desperately she wants to see Clayton.

Also, as a downbeat Chesney surveys the damage to his car, a van screeches past, almost knocking him off his feet. Chesney’s shocked to see it’s the same van.

Yasmeen’s thrilled to have Alya back, proud that she’s now shadowing a criminal solicitor.

Belle is taken aback to see Amelia wearing what she believes is her missing top. Amelia is stunned by the accusation and flustered Belle leaves in a panic.

Tom cruelly berates Amelia over the situation, but his outburst is interrupted when Jimmy and DS Foy arrive. Tom tries to manipulate those around him, but it’s not long before he faces justice.

Meanwhile, Ruby begs Steph for another chance.
