ITV1 mark Disability History Month with series of ‘shorts’

From popular takeaway dishes to granny going on a blind date the offerings also stream on ITVX…

ITV is celebrating Disability History Month with short features available to stream on ITVX and through ITV’s YouTube Channel, with Molly Dennis, Richard Walker, and Stephanie Symington- Kurth making their producer/director debut for ITV at the helm of the respective series, under the banner of ITV’s new talent strand produced by MultiStory Media, Fresh Cuts.

Takeaway or Fakeaway. Chef Ayala Daly recreates popular takeaway dishes for a panel of fierce food critics – who just so happen to be picky kids. Can they tell which is the real Takeaway and which is the homemade Fakeaway? Also new for Disability History Month 2024, Diverse led indie Gold Wala have produced Evil Escapes, which follows comedians Lee “Lost Voice Guy” Ridley, Jamie MacDonald, and Eshaan Akbar as they tackle the world with wit and grit, each bringing a unique perspective shaped by their experiences with disability.
