Jack is determined to tackle the Harry situation, leveraging his police connections to investigate the disappearance of Harry’s girlfriend, Shireen. Penny warns Harry, who insists that she must persuade Jack to back off, or he will reveal her involvement in the scheme against him. In an effort to regain control, Penny persuades Jack to allow her to meet Shireen’s friend Felicity, hoping to dissuade her from getting involved.
However, Felicity’s chilling account of Shireen’s fate leaves Penny feeling uneasy. Later, as Jack and Penny look on, the police arrive to take Harry into custody. Just before he is taken away, Nicola Mitchell – Harry and Barney’s mother – makes an appearance.
Meanwhile, Elaine is relieved to see Linda sober and focused on recovery, but her positivity is thwarted by Bernie, who is back in Walford. As Linda tries to explain about her failed confession, Bernie rages over Nish taking the rap and warns that neither of them will ever move on.
Later, Bernie confronts Suki, who tries a different tactic to calm her down.
Elsewhere, Phil is annoyed by Teddy’s low-ball offer for Peggy’s and dismisses him, saying there are other interested parties.
Both Sharon and Kat separately try to talk to Phil, who is becoming increasingly isolated. But Phil covers his emotions and refuses to open up to either of them.

Unable to live with the guilt, Dee-Dee heads to the station, telling Kit that the anonymous phone call he received was from her after she hit Joel with a crowbar.
As she claims it was self-defence, and Joel was alive when she left him, Kit is met with another shock piece of evidence. Will Dee-Dee be arrested or is someone else in the frame?
Meanwhile, upset over the loss of her mother’s ring, Sally rounds on Tim for allowing Mason into their home. Spotting Mason with his brothers, Tim strides over and confronts them. Matty and Logan laugh in his face but Tim senses Mason’s scared.
Later, Tim answers a knock at the door from Mason. Sally grabs him and calls the police.
Elsewhere, Gemma is still furious with Billy over his pass at Todd.
Also, David confides in Nick about the visiting order from Clayton. Nick advises him to come clean to Shona as she’s bound to find out in the long run. David forms a plan.
Later, David visits Clayton in prison. Will he tell Shona?

Mandy is outraged when she arrives back at the Dingles’ to find Tina already there with Vinny.
Vinny is overwhelmed by Tina’s bombshell – the truth is out. Mandy begs him to listen to her reasoning, but Vinny quietly leaves once the two women argue intently with each other.
Meanwhile, Eric confronts Caleb about the increase in traffic due to his warehouse. Caleb blithely bats away his complaints, unwilling to take him seriously.
Seething at his dismissal, Eric commandeers one of Caleb’s lorries. Due to not having his medication and being in a state of stress, he experiences a hand tremor and he crashes into some crates. Concerned and shaking, Eric struggles to hold it together.
