Chelsea is emotional as she prepares to hand herself in to the police.

Meanwhile, Harry puts his foot in it during a conversation between Sharon and Teddy. He decides to make it up to his dad by setting up a date between the pair at The Arches. Sharon cottons on to the plans and decides to attend anyway, much to Teddy’s surprise.

Sharon asks Teddy for a drink, but he bails to look after Barney who is upset following an altercation with Avani at McClunky’s.

Elsewhere, Eve makes last-minute plans for her and Suki to head to Yorkshire. Nish manipulates the situation, and Suki decides to stay home to see Tye, much to Eve’s dismay.

Later, Eve softens after talking to Stacey, and calls to apologise to Suki but it’s clear that Nish is not happy at her intrusion in their family time.

Kit tells Lisa that Joel was killed by two strikes to the head with a heavy object, probably a crowbar. Lisa is taken aback when Yasmeen informs her that she kicked Mason out for having a crowbar. After her mum warns her to stay away from him, Betsy warns Mason that the police are onto him. Behind the factory, Mason disposes of the crowbar in a bin, but is caught in the act by Kit. Dee-Dee explains to Ronnie that the police believe Joel was attacked with a crowbar.

At the hospital, a doctor informs Lauren and Max that Frankie’s doing well enough to be discharged next month. Bobby admits to Max that he still has feelings for Lauren.

Meanwhile, Sam prepares a romantic meal at the flat to try and get Leanne and Nick back together, but disaster strikes when he uses a sharp knife to try and open some oysters. Sam shows Asha the gash on his hand and she takes him to hospital. How will Nick and Leanne react when they find out what Sam’s been up to?

Elsewhere, when Adam reveals that Jesse may have overheard him and Daniel discussing Damon’s hidden loot, Sarah becomes adamant that Jesse took it and asks David to help her prove it. Will David comply?

Also, Gemma tells Chesney she doesn’t want Joseph to go on the school skiing trip. Chesney realises she is still shaken up after losing Paul.

Ruby drowns her sorrows in the pub. Chas advises her to find out Helen’s final words from the hospital, in the hope of getting closure.

Meanwhile, the Dingles raise their glasses, and there is a return to the village for one last time.
