Bets on for Jeremy Clarkson to star in ‘I’m a Celebrity’

TV presenter 3/1 to enter the Jungle this year…

Jeremy Clarkson has been tipped to appear in the upcoming series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! following the release of the last The Grand Tour episode, according to betideas.com.

Television presenter and motoring journalist Clarkson is as short as 3/1 for a stint in the Jungle later this year, with odds of 7/1 to make a shock return to the BBC in some form following his departure from the organisation in 2015.

An appearance on either Strictly Come Dancing or Dancing on Ice is priced at 14/1 and 16/1 respectively, with a feature in next year’s series of Celebrity Big Brother more likely at 8/1. Clarkson is also 6/1 to launch his own radio show and 12/1 to start his own TV chat show.

Lee Astley, spokesperson for betideas.com:

“Following the final episode of The Grand Tour, people are wondering where Jeremy Clarkson will appear on our screens next, and a stint in the Jungle on I’m a Celebrity looks a likely destination.

“Clarkson has been on plenty of excursions through deserts and jungles, hence why he’s as short as 3/1 to appear in the upcoming series of I’m a Celebrity later this year. The TV presenter is also 7/1 to make a return to the BBC in any capacity, with features on Celebrity Big Brother 2025 (8/1), Strictly Come Dancing 2025 (14/1) and next year’s Dancing on Ice (16/1) all potential avenues for Clarkson.”
