Reg Harcourt visited Weston-Super-Mare in Somerset to talk to Midlands holidaymakers enjoying the new ‘staggered holidays’.
Harcourt talks to holidaymakers from the West Midlands who are in favour of the new idea of workers being allowed holidays earlier in the season rather than waiting for the traditional holiday factory closedown. They like the lower prices and the fewer crowds. Harcourt also talks to Mr Turner who is the town’s publicity officer who describes the change as the most sensible thing to happen for years.
