Pick of the Plots: Monday 3rd June

Cindy is horrified to hear from Ian that Anna has been mugged and things get worse when Kathy blames her for being a bad mum. Cindy rushes to The Vic with Jack to get Anna to make a statement, but Anna refuses despite Cindy and George’s pleas.

Ian tries to apologise to Cindy for Kathy’s rudeness but she makes it clear he’s not a priority to her. George and Cindy head to the Boxing Den to check the CCTV footage.

Later, at No.55, Cindy tries to get closer to George as they talk about how to help Anna, but when Anna arrives to talk to her dad, she is shocked to find him drinking with Cindy. After Anna leaves, Cindy renews her attempts to reel George in, but he shows her out, as Junior watches from the shadows.

Meanwhile, Ravi voices his doubts about Vinny to Nish, who urges him to look into it for him. Under interrogation, Vinny manages to convince Ravi that he is genuine. Later, at No.41, Vinny and Suki discuss Ravi’s questions and their pledge to reclaim the Panesar empire.

Elsewhere, Harvey has lost Maya’s number, so gets Tommy’s help to find her online.

Also, Reiss is stressing about money after losing a major client as Sonia tries to bolster his spirits.

Joel tells Dee-Dee he has booked a table at the bistro tomorrow, so she can meet his parents. He heads off to visit Nathan to discuss his plea.

Bethany tells Craig about Ellie, how Nathan used to abuse her too and she can provide him with Ellie’s address. Craig calls at Ellie’s lodgings only to be told by her flatmate that she’s moved out and that she appeared frightened about something.

Dee-Dee lets slip to Adam how Bobby stitched up Daniel by giving the police a false statement and Carla went along with it. The Barlows gather in The Rovers where Adam reveals that Bobby gave the police a false statement, causing Daniel to become a prime suspect in Lauren’s murder investigation. How will the family react?

Meanwhile, Craig calls at the garage and admits to Abi and Kevin that they’re no nearer to knowing who posted the fake videos and she might be best to hire a lawyer. After two lads call at the garage and make lewd remarks. Abi is in despair. Nina suggests they try the online management company Dev contacted for Asha.

Elsewhere, Leanne returns from the retreat. When Simon reveals that he’s leaving to join Peter on his yacht, Leanne’s furious that she wasn’t told and accuses Nick of conspiring against her with Toyah.

After waving off her son Leanne chats to someone on her laptop, telling them how Simon’s gone, she’s all alone and she wishes she could be with them.

Also, when Sam admits that he’s no one to play chess with, Nina has an idea.

Dawn is overwhelmed with exhaustion after hearing that Evan’s temperature is up after his chemotherapy.

Dawn anxiously interrogates Billy when he arrives at the hospital to see if some germs could have been transferred to Evan from the other kids.
