Pick of the Plots: Thursday 9th May

Cindy is upset that Gina and Anna aren’t speaking to her because she kept George’s boxing a secret. Eventually, the girls agree to have lunch with her, and Cindy assures them that she will persuade George to quit fighting.

Later, during a tense discussion, George initially refuses Cindy’s idea of trying online therapy to manage his intense emotions. However, she manages to change his mind.

Alone, George calls Rufus to set up a fight for the following week. He later tells Cindy about his plans and she presents him with an ultimatum.

Meanwhile, Patrick isn’t happy to hear that Levi has scheduled a meeting with his superiors for next week, incredulous that the process is so slow. He collars Levi in the café and tells him to get a move on, or he’ll take the matter into his own hands.

When Patrick sees Pastor Clayton posturing at the Community Centre, he confronts him before Yolande arrives and begs him to stop.

Elsewhere, Billy meets Stevie for a drink and demands to know what he really wants. Stevie insists he’s a lonely old man who just wants to get to know his family. Honey, Will and Janet are shocked when they arrive home to find Billy has invited Stevie over.

Also, Amy isn’t impressed to hear about Denzel’s collab with influencer Ebony.

Ethan agrees to take Nicky to pick up Suni. As they drive to get to Suni, Ethan sees a police car up ahead. He turns around, afraid of being over the limit. As Nicky struggles to get hold of Suni on his phone, Ethan loses control of the car and it crashes.

When Ethan comes round, he carefully pulls Nicky from the vehicle. He hides and then sees a car approaching, he watches as Moira discovers unconscious Nicky, before he runs away from the scene.

Meanwhile, Kerry plots revenge on Eric, convincing Tracy to let her run a cash-only sale at the shop. Kerry ransacks the shop as villagers grab their bargains. How will Eric react to realise Kerry has exacted revenge?

Elsewhere, April is aware that things are tricky at home.
