Billy is angered when Stevie arrives unannounced at No.18, and orders him to leave. Lexi and Honey try and encourage Billy to give Stevie a chance but he’s adamant he doesn’t want to know.

Later, Lexi secretly enlists Stevie’s help with Jay. The pair head to 29B where Stevie encourages Nadine to get a DNA test. Stevie grows suspicious of Nadine’s behaviour.

Meanwhile, Yolande pushes forward with her baptism plans causing Chelsea to snap. Denise and Patrick talk Chelsea round and she makes amends with Yolande.

Chelsea bumps into Pastor Clayton, and informs him of the baptism. He invites her to the community centre to discuss the plans.

Elsewhere, Whitney is devastated about Britney. Bianca and Zack work together to persuade Keeley to help, but Bianca struggles to keep her cool.

Paul, Billy and Gemma are blown away by the MND Crowdfunder, sure it will make the council sit up and take notice about the possible centre closure.

A man approaches Bernie outside the café, telling her he heard Paul on the radio and didn’t realise his son was dying. Bernie covers her shock and makes out Paul’s already dead and the interview was a recording. But disbelieving Denny follows her up to the flat, where Gemma and Paul are shocked to see their dad.

When Denny remarks that Paul looks great for someone that’s supposedly dead, Bernie freezes in horror.

Meanwhile, a nervous Steve meets up with internet date Carole in The Rovers, but he’s thrown to discover she’s brought three friends with her. Aurora invites Tim to join them and refuses to take no for an answer. When Sally calls at the pub and spots Tim with a drunken woman, giggling like a school boy, how will she react?

Elsewhere, Mary visits a desolate Roy in hospital. When Roy reveals that he keeps trying to remember the details of a conversation he overheard between Max and Lauren as he feels sure it’s of significance, Mary urges him not to give up as it’ll come to him eventually.

When Nina reveals that the police are going to film a reconstruction in the café of Lauren’s last known movements, Amy offers to mention it on her radio show to raise awareness.

Also, Adam’s taken aback to learn that Alya’s going to work in Dublin; Gary and Maria discuss private therapy for Liam.

Coronation Street, ITV1, tonight at 8pm

Dawn and Billy discover that baby Evan has a bruise. They take him to A&E where a paediatrician wants to run some blood tests.

Having seen the blood test results, the paediatrician asks to take an urgent bone marrow biopsy as Evan has low haemoglobin and platelet levels so more tests are required. Dawn and Billy see their world imploding and are left reeling.

Meanwhile, as Chas reflects on not being brave enough to face her surgery scars, Charity agrees to look with her and she bravely lifts her top, facing her new reality head-on. Later, Kerry’s insensitive comments unleash Chas’ fury. Chas refuses to be defined by breasts.

Elsewhere, Moira is delighted by Isaac’s interest in the farm until he’s shaken seeing an abandoned lamb.
