Another cast member of Hollyoaks is set to leave the show

Theo Graham has left his role as Hunter McQueen in Hollyoaks.

The actor has filmed his final scenes and his character is set to be killed off in dramatic fashion, according to The Sun.

“Theo knew when he returned in 2022 that he was only going to stay for a short stint. He made his decision a while ago and bosses were happy to come up with a fitting and final exit for him and Hunter,” a source told the paper.

Graham initially joined the show in 2016, left in 2018, and returned in 2022. Despite his recent comeback, he informed the show’s producers last year that he had decided to leave the show again.

During his time away from Hollyoaks, the actor appeared in Netflix’s Fate: The Winx Saga and the BBC comedy Flatmates.

Graham is one of a number of stars reported to be leaving the Channel 4 soap in recent weeks, including Jamie Lomas, Ross Adams, Jamelia and Stephanie Waring.

The show is being compelled to reduce its on-screen talent before transitioning to airing three episodes per week starting in September. So far only Waring’s exit has been linked to these cuts, with the other departures noted to be the actor’s own decision.

Hollyoaks currently airs Monday-Friday at 7pm on E4 with first look episodes on Channel 4 streaming.
