George wakes up on Phil’s couch with visible injuries. Elaine, Anna, and Gina are shocked by his appearance upon his return, and he fabricates a story about being attacked by thugs. Later, George attempts to make some headway against Eddie, but a setback sends him into a downward spiral once more.

Elaine chooses not to interfere as George storms off, but Cindy expresses deep concern and questions Phil about his whereabouts.  Phil and Cindy pursue George to a fight club where they find the bouncers denying him entry.

Back in Walford, Cindy takes George to the Boxing Den so they can talk.

Meanwhile, Patrick tries to find out why Denise isn’t angry about Jack cheating and arranges a meal with her, Chelsea and the kids to spend quality family time together. Although Yolande is busy with the fundraiser, she agrees to attend, and when Pastor Clayton interrupts their meal, Yolande invites him to join them.

Over dinner, Patrick becomes aware that Pastor Clayton knows more than he does about Denise’s troubles and gets jealous of his closeness to Yolande and the family.

Elsewhere Jay reluctantly meets with Nadine who drops the bombshell that she is pregnant with his baby. Overwhelmed, Jay rushes off.

Also, Lauren puts pressure on Whitney to take Britney back to Milton Keynes. Instead, Whitney makes plans to get Britney into Walford High to restart her education.

Kerry is in a panic about the cash. Leyla and Suzy prepare the venue but there’s still no sign of payment from Kerry. Kim shows up demanding her full payment for the venue.

Meanwhile, Rhona hopes but dares not trust.

Elsewhere, Jacob tries to hide the news of a six-week placement in Berlin from Victoria.

Also, Kim shoots down Billy’s plans to work as a PT.
