HOME AND AWAY

Home and Away, episode 8205, Kyle Shilling (Mali Hudson), Kirsty Marillier (Rose Delaney) and Millie Ford (Montana)

Theo’s party drug has kicked in and, having never done anything like this before, Valerie is helping navigate the elated Theo. At home, Justin and Leah happily settle back into the rhythm of their relationship, glad that Theo is in a better headspace, but clueless he’s under the influence. Valerie ushers him into his room to minimise risk of them figuring it out. Staring at the mirror he isn’t sure why he was freaking out. He asks Valerie when and why she takes these pills, but she deflects every time, distracting him with the thought of the fun afternoon ahead. They dance into the night, forgetting all their troubles, until finally they collapse in bed together, giving in to their building attraction and kiss.

Kirby’s still confused by her fallout with Theo. She and Remi discuss concerns that Theo is getting distracted from Lyrik, especially with Valerie hanging around. Remi’s still recovering, so Kirby takes matters into her own hands, asking Theo to chat. He’s still emboldened by the drugs when he arrives, uncharacteristically complimentary. Bree lets Remi know she’s home from spending time with her family, and he replies, revealing he’s out of hospital, even though it’s been a week. When Bree knocks at the door, she’s relieved and glad he’s home, but why didn’t anyone tell her? He apologises. Remi felt she needed to be with her family, and not be worrying about him. Bree composes herself, on the verge.

Joking at Salt with Dana and Tane, Harper begs Xander no more romance nights because “single people don’t need another reminder they’re single”. Dana teases – stop complaining about it if you’re not going to do anything about it. The next day at the beach, Harper’s phone buzzes with countless notifications. She’s outed as having joined the dating app Smouldr. She matches with a guy who seems sweet, but she doesn’t know what to do next. Tane encourages her just to be herself. Harper takes his advice… and suddenly they’re setting up a date together.

Mali can’t be honest with Rose about his housemate’s affair, even when he and Tane have been booted from home for the day. When he does have to return, he comes face to face with Levi, but Mackenzie intervenes with the truth – Mali knows everything. This is unwelcome news to Levi, despite Mackenzie reassuring him they won’t say a word.

Dana vents to Irene about her crush, concealing his identity. The thing is, she’s not ready to date again, not after what she went through with her ex. Irene’s understanding but promises there’s a lot of great guys out there. Dana’s phone pings with a text from Xander, and she’s unable to mask a hopeful smile. When they’re together later on, Rose can spot the attraction a mile off and wastes no time confronting Dana – “You have a crush on my brother”. Rose is excited, but Dana convinces her to keep it quiet for now.

John can’t quite believe that Roo has dropped the investigation into the anonymous donor, and he wants to know the truth. She tries to placate him – he got his money: can’t he just spend it? Harangued by John as they’re walking home, Marilyn queries Roo – why doesn’t she just tell him that Cash did find out who gave the money? The next day, Roo finally clues him in on the truth, but John can’t accept it – why would Cash walk away without finishing the job? And Roo can’t help but agree, it’s very odd behaviour. Will she reopen the case?

Mali’s confronted by Eden trying to figure out what’s going on with her brother, but all Mali claims to know is that Levi was doing his job – checking on his patient Mackenzie. Eden leaves without answers and Rose catches the end of the conversation. Mali admits there is something going on with Mackenzie, but he won’t tell her exactly what. Now Mali’s efforts to keep the secret of his friend’s affair is impacting his own relationship.

Home and Away airs 1:45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6:30pm on 5STAR and the series also streams on My5.

NEIGHBOURS

Haz is facing being exposed in Neighbours

As a stunned JJ processes the revelation that Felix is his father, Andrew laments his role in introducing the pair. Wendy, however, won’t allow him to accept any blame. She insists they did nothing but throw Felix a lifeline. He abused their trust and their hospitality. As Andrew stews on this, they learn that Felix has been apprehended by the police in a sting involving Jools.

Following the scaffolding accident, Terese is determined to generate positive publicity by fast-tracking the announcement of Karl as Eirini Rising’s resident doctor and wellness expert. Karl is chuffed when Terese proposes to plaster his image on billboards. Motivated by the imminent photoshoot, Karl amps up his health kick and Melanie decides to join him. Later, Terese arrives at the Kennedy House and is pleased to hear about Karl’s progress.

Concerned by Haz’s recent odd behavior, Holly checks in with him but a stressed Haz tells her to get off his case. Not long after, Holly is distressed to discover her bank account empty. Unbeknownst to her, the money has mysteriously made its way to Haz’s personal bank account. Later in the week, Mackenzie is left with the uncomfortable feeling that Haz is somehow involved in the cybercrimes. Sadie’s heart soars when Byron comes around to ask for a second chance… these two are back on course and Andrew has, reluctantly, decided to let it be.

Terese is rattled when she sees Melanie for the first time since returning to the street. Paul seems overly concerned for Terese’s well-being prompting Jane to enquire whether or not Paul has ulterior motives now that Terese’s marriage to Toadie has imploded. Terese insists Paul is only acting as a supportive friend, and after Hope’s memorial, which Terese can’t bring herself to attend because of Melanie’s presence, she returns the favour by being a supportive friend to Paul.

Feeling too guilty to attend Hope’s memorial, Chelsea tells Paul she’ll support him by manning the fort at the hotel instead. While she’s there, she learns Paul has commissioned a report into the software glitch that allegedly locked the sauna door and ultimately caused Krista’s baby to be stillborn. The man delivering the report, Jeffrey Swan, reveals to Chelsea that she is directly implicated. Already fearful that Paul is losing interest in her, Chelsea knows this report will end their relationship, and rather than let that happen, Chelsea makes an indecent proposal to Jeffrey in return for doctoring the report to clear her of any wrongdoing.

After her baby’s memorial, and in the wake of losing David, Krista admits to Leo that she’s proud of herself for staying sober. She becomes emotional when she receives Hope’s footprints as a memento. But that night, she stumbles across Byron’s prescription painkillers. AVer such upheaval, can Krista fight off the temptation to use again?

Neighbours streaming from 7.30am, Monday to Thursday, on Freevee UK

RIVER CITY

River City, Eddie Corrigan (Rob Jarvis) is paid a visit by Tyler Foulkes (Cameron Fulton)

When Conor drops out of Murdoch business for the day, Tyler grows suspicious. Confiding in Eddie, Tyler pushes back on his offer to do some digging of his own. Tyler tells him to back off and steer well clear of the Brodies but Eddie ignores the warning.

Eddie dupes Nicole into letting him into their flat and finds a bag under Conor’s bed which spikes his interest. Almost rumbled by Nicole, Eddie makes his excuses and leaves. Outside, he is grabbed by Tyler who is furious he went behind his back. However, tensions are put aside when Eddie reveals what he found.

Elsewhere, Madonna and Dean are frustrated when they can’t find anywhere to be alone. Over at the O’Hara’s, Madonna spots an opportunity if she can only get rid of her brother, Callum. Annoyed at being chucked out of his home, Callum plays saboteur to his sister’s love life – much to Scarlett’s shock and Madonna’s embarrassment.

With their wedding on the horizon, Mulvaney and Bernie tuck into food tasting for their big day. However, groom-to-be Mulvaney is lured away by Lenny on urgent business. Feeling abandoned by her fiancé, Bernie questions whether her intended is as committed to the idea of marriage as she is.

Amber’s first driving lesson with Sonny stalls when they clash. Lenny makes it clear she needs to find an alternative instructor – she’s the local councillor after all. At Montego Motors, Bob jokes that Angus could teach Amber how to drive. Offended that she’s being mocked, Amber storms off. Angus catches up with her, offering some words of support and unwittingly finds himself taking her for a driving lesson.

On their return, Amber is thrilled after a successful lesson and asks Angus out for a drink – much to his surprise. Seeing how happy his daughter is, Lenny makes it clear Angus is going to be Amber’s new driving instructor – whether he wants the job or not.

Also this week, Ash suffers an identity crisis when he offers to create a wedding playlist for Mikey. As he goes through Bernie’s record collection, he’s touched by her story about two gay friends of hers from San Francisco who married in the 1970s. Realising how much times and attitudes have changed, Ash admits to Armand he’s confused about his sexual identity but feels guilty about hiding this from his girlfriend Gillian.

Encouraged by Sam, Sonny has a chat with Maggie, desperate to make amends. However, he takes his attempts to build bridges with his ex too far when he asks her out for dinner. She reluctantly agrees but while Sonny looks forward to their date, a conflicted Maggie admits to Dean it’s complicated.
