Ben maintains his innocence while being detained at Walford police station after details of a previous crime resurface. Tensions escalate between Jay, Kathy, and Phil at home, leading to a heated argument. In the midst of the family dispute, Lexi returns home and demands to know the truth.
Later, Ritchie arrives to speak with Phil, but Lexi insists on being included in the conversation. Phil receives a call from Ben who has a request for him.
Meanwhile, Lauren offers to keep an eye on Britney while Whitney goes to clear the air with Zack. Britney soon gets into trouble in the Square. Whitney and Zack continue to not see eye to eye, and Zack heads out when Lauren and Britney arrive at the flat.
Whitney and Lauren have a heart-to-heart before Zack arrives home to try and build bridges.
Elsewhere, Yolande and Denzel clash in the café when she questions him on his diet. Yolande takes receipt of a package for Denzel but hides it, determined to get to the bottom of his current struggles.
Also, Priya asks Martin for a date, but Avani has other ideas and attempts to play matchmaker by feigning upset to Ravi that Priya is ill. Both men arrive at No.41 at the same time, but Martin gets the wrong idea and leaves as Priya is left angered by her daughter’s antics.

Eric looks through Amit’s files in Holdgate for a killer clue. Vinny tries to warn him that Amit is on his way, but he pays no heed to his phone ringing on silent until it’s too late. Will he be caught in the act?
Later, Eric lays his cards on the table and pleads with Jai to believe his suspicions about Amit. He’s left utterly defeated when a pitying Jai dismisses him.
Meanwhile, Marlon persuades Paddy to lay it all on the line for Mandy.
Elsewhere, Tom is miffed by Vinny and Belle’s closeness.
