Special EastEnders episodes to follow Whitney Dean in Milton Keynes

EastEnders will be airing two special episodes that focus on Whitney Dean’s time in Milton Keynes.

Whitney (Shona McGarty) and Zack (James Farrar) left the Square last month, heading towards Milton Keynes to pay a visit to Bianca (Patsy Palmer).

When viewers catch up with the pair next month, they will discover that their visit has been far from smooth-sailing.

Whitney becomes worried about a child on Bianca’s estate who hasn’t attended school since 2020, making her a ‘Ghost Child’ in the education system.

The special episodes will cover five weeks’ worth of storyline as Whitney tries to intervene in Britney’s troubled family situation. But things escalate when a confrontation with Britney’s mother causes the young girl to run away.

Lola Campbell, a child actress who rose to fame in 2023 following her debut role in BAFTA-nominated film, Scrapper, joins the cast as Britney.

Speaking on the storyline, Chris Clenshaw, Executive Producer said:

“We’re thrilled to welcome the immensely talented Lola Campbell to the cast of EastEnders as she takes on the role of Britney. The special episodes, which coincide with Patsy Palmer’s return, will showcase five weeks’ worth of storyline as we follow Whitney and Zack during their time in Milton Keynes, but it’s not long before the pair are thrust into the heart of the drama after Whitney grows concerned for Britney’s wellbeing.”

The special episodes will air on Monday 4th March and Tuesday 5th March on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
