Pick of the Plots: Wednesday 14th February

Gloria and Eddie arrive at The Vic, where George insists on talking alone with his dad.

During a painful confrontation, George finally unlocks the truth about his childhood, Eddie’s racism and what really happened.

Meanwhile, Gloria tries to explain herself to Elaine and begs her to help convince George to testify on Eddie’s behalf.

With Liam refusing to attend school, Gary and Maria go to see Mrs Cranshaw to explain the situation. Mrs. Crawshaw informs them that without evidence of the bullying, she is unable to take any action.

Eileen urges Maria to check Liam’s socials as she will likely find the evidence she needs there. Maria creates a fake SendPx account and sends Liam a follow request. As Maria scrolls through the comments on Liam’s account, her face becomes ashen.

Gary and Maria tell Liam that the only option left is for him to change schools. In his bedroom, Liam searches online for ways to end his own life.

Meanwhile, Bobby hands Lauren a small bunch of flowers. But when a delivery man enters with a huge posh bouquet, an embarrassed Bobby realises he has got competition. Lauren thanks Bobby for the flowers, but when her phone rings, a gutted Bobby assumes she’s spoken for. Lauren tells the caller to leave her alone.

Elsewhere, Tracy and Tommy rub each other up the wrong way at the flower shop. They’re interrupted by Amy who demands to know what is going on.

Also, after Toyah lets slip that Nick was planning to propose, Leanne takes the initiative and proposes to him instead. After recent events, will Nick accept?

Coronation Street, ITV1, tonight at 8pm

Belle is emotional ahead of her big day due to the absence of both her parents. She considers cancelling but Tom is hurt, reminding her that neither of his parents will be there either and he storms off in a mood.

Meanwhile, Ruby asks for Nicky’s advice on how to win Caleb back.

Caleb and Tracy exchange a few words on Main Street. Having witnessed the interaction, Ruby is vengeful but keeps her mischievous plans close to her chest.
