Your Pick of the Plots for Tuesday, February 13.

It’s Gina’s birthday and Eddie and Gloria arrive at The Vic bearing gifts. George tells them he knows about the court case and asks them to leave.

During a heart-to-heart with Gina, George talks about his childhood and tries to excuse Eddie’s words and deeds, angering her.

Later, George finds the courage to look up his father’s court case. He rings Eddie and tells him they need to talk.

Meanwhile, after secretly boozing, Linda makes a show of herself by dropping Gina’s birthday cake in front of everyone in The Vic.

Having found out about her and Dean, Johnny admonishes Gina for laughing. Ben and Callum are concerned by Johnny’s angry behaviour. Ben promises to help Johnny get rid of Dean, assuring Callum that he will stay within the confines of the law.

Elsewhere, Amy and Ricky are concerned when Denise reacts strangely to a valentine’s gift from Jack.

Also, Denzel is fixated on training and diet, putting his fitness obsession before his relationship with Amy.

Despite his back pain, Billy tells Summer that he’s determined to make Valentine’s Day special for Paul with a motorbike and sidecar ride.

Wincing in pain, Billy rides pillion before knocking back the painkillers and heading out to the Bistro. However, the mood is ruined when an old schoolmate of Paul’s, and his fellow stags, start behaving raucously.

Billy surprises Paul with a Barbershop Quartet. Paul’s delighted but when Benno heads over and tries to force him to dance, Billy sees red and punches Benno.

Meanwhile, as Liam returns to school, Mason continues to mock him. Gary reveals that it’s his fault Liam punched Dylan as he urged him to stand up for himself. George’s heart sinks to realise his instincts were right and Liam is the victim.

Mason finds Liam working on his marionette. He grabs it from him and smashes it to smithereens while Dylan films his tears.

Elsewhere, Leanne rails at Nick for throwing Simon out and always putting his own son first. When Leanne finds Simon huddled on a bench in Victoria Garden, she’s horrified to realise he’s been there all night.

Simon pours his heart out, telling her that Nick’s right, he’s a waste of space, he drinks too much and is turning into his dad. How will Leanne react?

Coronation Street, ITV1, tonight at 8pm

Rhona is charged with kidnapping.

Meanwhile, Tom is still upset. Eager to make Tom happy, Belle agrees to take his name and become Mrs King.

Emmerdale, ITV1, tonight at 7.30pm

At school, Lucas begins his sessions with Carter, unaware it’s gay conversion therapy.

Meanwhile, with Joel being discharged from hospital, Peri urges her mum to come clean to him about her engagement lie.

Later, Joel reads a card from Daniel. Leela is forced to confess to him the lie she told Cleo.

Elsewhere, Cleo is shocked to discover Abe in the house preparing a romantic breakfast with a note asking her to go on a date with him.

Taking on her family’s advice, Cleo meets up with Abe for a drink. She brings up her concern about a previous night out together, where he came across as jealous. Abe explains his side of the story, telling her if she wants to end things between them, she can.
