In a whirlwind of enchantment at the launch of the Disneyland Hotel in Disneyland Paris, Nicola Coughlan, the multi-talented actress known for her role in Derry Girls and Bridgerton, shared her dream Disney role: playing Ariel from “The Little Mermaid.”

Citing Prince Eric as the main reason for her choice, Coughlan gushed, “Prince Eric was the best-looking Prince – the hair!” Taking a magical detour amidst her commitments, Nicola Coughlan explored Disneyland Paris, marking her first visit to the iconic theme park. Speaking about her enchanting experience at the Disneyland Hotel, Nicola couldn’t help but gush about the joyous atmosphere, calling it “magical, immersive, and so much fun!”

From reminiscing about her favourite Disney movies growing up to expressing her anticipation for the thrilling Space Mountain ride, Nicola Coughlan’s journey through Disneyland Paris mirrored the magical roles she takes on in the world of entertainment.

Nicola, set to grace the screen once again in the highly anticipated Bridgerton, slated for release in May, eagerly expressed her anticipation for the new season, exclaiming she was “super excited” and eagerly awaiting its release.

Amidst her busy schedule, which includes the promotional tour for the Regency-era drama, Coughlan also shared her enthusiasm for her involvement in “Big Mood,” stating, “Working on it has been an incredible journey, especially since it’s a collaboration with my best friend. It’s funny, it’s thought out, it’s dark—I just love it so much.”

Reflecting on her career, Nicola shared, “The constant drive for me is to make things that will make people feel something. Whether it’s laugh, cry, evoke some memory, all that kind of stuff drives me. I love my job, I feel really privileged.”
