It’s the day of baby Charli’s guardianship hearing, and Lily and Ricky are nervous.
Nish mentions his run-in with Stacey and Jack to Denise, and she collars Stacey to find out what happened. Denise is so rattled that she rushes off as both families walk into the courtroom. A worried Chelsea finds Denise and begs her to seek help from medical professionals.
Later, Stacey takes Jack aside at the Slaters party to ask about Denise. Amy soothes Denise as she cries out in her sleep at the Branning house. Jack’s side of the bed is empty.
Meanwhile, Alfie is mortified about wetting himself in The Vic, and Linda begs him to open up to Ian and Billy about his cancer diagnosis. After a false start, Alfie finally tells his shocked pals everything, and they vow to be there for him.
Elsewhere, Denzel is humiliated by the video showing him failing to protect Yolande. When Nugget teases him, Denzel lashes out, forcing Priya to break them up. Ravi invites the boys to The Boxing Den to learn a different way to channel their emotions.
Also, Dean appreciates Jean’s help with Jade, but she makes it clear that she is not doing it for him.

Suzanne has intentions for Darren while the twins settle in. She also insists on helping out at the get-together planned for Cindy.
Cindy is later supported by everyone at The Dog, but more drama ensues when Dave collapses.
Meanwhile, Peri ropes Lizzie into a day of partying. Later she bumps into Misbah, who reminds her their shift is about to start and Peri isn’t in uniform.
Elsewhere, Mercedes and Warren get their 12-week scan. Warren continues with his revenge plot on Felix.
