BBC Asian Network returns to Scotland with a live comedy show at The Glee Club…

Asian Network is all about celebrating and championing talent and this a great opportunity to do exactly that for rising voices, perspectives and talent from across the UK, and to top it off we’ll have a DJ on the night, so get ready for a proper Asian Network night out!”
Hosted by Asian Network’s Noreen Khan, and Glaswegian comedian and actress, Lubna Kerr, the night will feature a stellar line-up including Gem of the comedy circuit, Don Biswas, 2022’s New Act of The Year & BBC New Comedy Award finalist, Joshua Bethania. Manchester’s rising star & BBC New Comedy Award Semi Finalist 2023, Faizan Shah, Comedian, writer & producer, Pravanya Pillay and Funny newcomer & entertaining Scottish native, Sabina.
The show will also feature live music from BBC Asian Network’s very own, DJ Kizzi.

The event is 18+ and tickets cost £15, plus a £2 booking fee, and are on sale now. It takes place in Glasgow on Thursday 29 February 2024. The show will also be available to watch on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds after the event.
