Later, Reiss returns home after a difficult night at his wife’s bedside, and Sonia comforts him.

Elsewhere, Yolande isn’t impressed by Elaine trying to take over with the choir – and the battle lines are drawn.

Daniel brushes off recent events to Simon, but he’s devastated when Ryan reveals that he’s got the gym job and won’t be moving to Glasgow. Daniel heads for the Street Cars flat and lets himself using Simon’s keys. What does he have planned as he heads into Ryan’s bedroom?

Meanwhile, Evelyn has had a restless night worrying about Terry’s dog. She watches as Terry leaves the dog alone in his van. Evelyn makes a decision. How will Roy react when she returns with the dog in tow?

Also, Cassie tells Hope she doesn’t have to go to school on her birthday, she has a better idea. Later, Hope and Cassie return home sporting nose studs. Tyrone’s horrified.

Mercedes has gone missing. After searching for her during the night, Felix and Warren decide it’s time to tell the McQueens.

When the police tell Felix they can’t do anything unless Mercedes has been missing for over 24 hours, his emotions get to him and Warren is left comforting his friend. Warren leaves Mercedes a voicemail apologising and saying that he’s worried about Felix’s mental health.

Nana offers Felix a shoulder to cry on and promises that Mercedes will be home. Wanting to put her friends and family first, Zoe tells Felix she’ll bend some rules to help find Mercedes and bring her home.

Meanwhile, it’s John Paul’s first day back teaching at Hollyoaks High. Carter warns him that he needs to stay focused on his job.

Elsewhere, Mason thanks Cindy for everything she has done for his family.
