Byron seeks help from Leo who in turn calls in help from David. In his element, David manages to set Krista on a path for safe withdrawal; also managing to rediscover a sense of purpose that he’s missed since leaving Erinsborough.

Meanwhile, Byron continues to feel the distance with Reece, who’s chosen to make contact with Chloe rather than him.

Concerned that things are still tense between their parents, Dex and JJ put their heads together to break the ice. Recalling a well-worn anecdote about their mums’ horrific/terrific first dinner date, they recreate it in the sunroom. Will their efforts be enough to produce a much-needed thaw?
