Big Brother reveal ‘final five’

Big Brother has tonight revealed the housemates who have successfully made it to tomorrow’s Live Final.

Following Matty’s eviction, Henry, Jordan, Noky, Olivia and Yinrun were announced as the finalists in tonight’s penultimate episode of Big Brother. Tomorrow night, one of the finalists will be declared the winner of Big Brother 2023 and win a life-changing cash prize of £100,000. Who wins? You decide.

Voting for tomorrow’s Live Final has now reopened exclusively via the Big Brother app, with viewers being asked to vote for the housemate they want to win the ITV reality series. The vote will close during tomorrow night’s show.

While the news Matty had departed was ’embargoed’ by ITV2 until 10pm this evening The Mirror reported earlier today that ‘Matty has been evicted from the ITV reality show, according to spoilers, as Scottish contestant Olivia confirmed the news during the live feed.’

Matty is the latest to depart the Big Brother house

The newspaper suggests that it may have been ‘an editing blunder’ that left the Live feed on ITVX to allow Glasgow’s Olivia to confirm the latest exit. In such situations usually, the sound is muted so viewers are not given any ’embargoed’ details. However, viewers to the feed note it was clear who had left anyway – as he wasn’t seen in the live feed making it obvious without the comments. The news Matty had departed shouldn’t have been announced until tonight’s show on ITV2 at 9 pm.

This Friday in the live farewell viewers will watch hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best crown the winner of the 2023 series, as well as speak to all five finalists in their first live interview since leaving the Big Brother house.

Last week ITV confirmed the return next year of  Celebrity Big Brother. A cast of famous faces isolated from the outside world as they embark on the ultimate social experiment, taking up residence in the reality-controlled house. Leaving luxury behind, the celebrities will take part in weekly nominations and tough tasks with cameras capturing their every move.
