Murder, She Wrote – Monday 30th October at 5pm on GREAT! TV

National treasure Angela Lansbury plays Jessica Fletcher, the famous mystery writer who has a knack for solving murders on and off the page in the classic TV series Murder, She Wrote. Jessica finds herself in the centre of the drama once again in Sing A Song Of Murder as she believes her cousin, Emma, has passed away. Arriving in London, Jessica discovers that Emma is in fact alive, but has been in hiding in fear for her life after receiving numerous death threats. Nothing beats an old-school classic to keep you feeling warm as the cold season approaches!

The Alamo – Tuesday 31st October at 9pm on GREAT! Action

If a gripping, star-studded, epic action-thriller based on true events is more your style, you’re in luck! Set during the Texas Revolution in 1836, the film reveals sets the stage for the famous siege of Alamo and closely follows its consequences. Starring Dennis Quaid, Billy Bob Thornton, and Patrick Wilson, the action-packed drama will be sure to have you gripping your blanket in both suspense and excitement!

Eye For An Eye – Wednesday 1st November at 9pm on GREAT! Action

John Travolta, Morgan Freeman, Famke Janssen and Brendan Fraser headline the searing detective thriller, Eye For An Eye.​ Travolta plays Carson Philips, a hard-drinking L.A. private eye, who takes a case in his old hometown of Galveston, Texas.​ While searching for a missing woman, Philips must confront a crime boss (Freeman), a shady doctor (Fraser), a sexy club singer, his former lover (Janssen) – and his own dark, disturbing past. This star-studded thriller is one not to be miss.

Christmas At Holly Lodge – Thursday 2nd November at 8pm on GREAT! Christmas

Holly Lodge, a beautiful inn set within stunning scenery, is run by Sophie (Alison Sweeney). Every Christmas, the same regular visitors vacate at the Holly Lodge. However, behind on her mortgage, Sophie is struggling to keep the lodge, and her life, going. When Evan, a development company consultant, is sent to report on the land on which the lodge lies, he and Sophie begin to fall for each other in the heartwarming, uplifting Christmas At Holly Lodge.

Mirror Mirror – Friday 3rd November at 6:45pm on GREAT! Movies

Julia Roberts stars as the wicked stepmother in this terrific retelling of the Snow White fairytale. When the beloved King mysteriously vanishes, 18-year-old Snow White (Lily Collins) is imprisoned by her evil stepmother who takes control of the kingdom. When she attracts the attention of a charming Prince, the Queen banishes Snow White to a nearby forest. Encouraged by a band of seven mischievous dwarves, she develops into a brave young woman and is determined to reclaim her birthright. An enchanting family-favourite which is sure to charm the hearts of all those who embrace the magic.

Allied – Friday 3rd November at 9pm on GREAT! Movies

Oscar winners Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard star in this suspenseful romantic war-drama. Max Vatan (Pitt) is a Canadian intelligence officer serving in North Africa in 1942 amidst the height of the Second World War. He meets member of the French Resistance, Marianne Beauséjour (Cotillard), whilst on a mission to assassinate a German officer, and the pair fall in love. Returning to London, Marianne’s true identity is brought into question, and Max must embark on a mission to confirm whether or not Marianne, the love of his life, is on the side of the enemy. Dramatic wartime feature with a tense and romantic twist.
