Today in Summer Bay…
Felicity is frenzied by Tane’s question about starting a family – they’ve already had this conversation, so what does he expect from her? Felicity confides in Cash – she’s struggling having to deal with her husband’s disappointment every time she says no to a baby. Eden counsels Tane that he just needs to be patient, and eventually, Felicity will be ready for the conversation. When she finally talks to him though, Felicity is clear – it’s not about the timing, she’s never going to want kids.
Cash’s job is on the line after he broke the law for Harper and Dana. He has been suspended, pending a review of his case. The sisters meanwhile are anxious for an update. They’re shocked to discover Cash is back in the Bay and has made no effort to contact them, and more shocked to learn of his suspension from an irate Eden. Will they be responsible for Cash losing his job?
When Cash does reach out to arrange a meet up, the sisters express how grateful and sorry they are. Harper takes a call from the police and puts them on to Dana. It’s good news – Olly is in custody and her arrest warrant has been rescinded. Eden again takes aim at Harper and the three women are at odds until Cash puts his foot down – enough. He’s glad he put the crooked Detective Madden behind bars, and if he ends up losing his job over it, then so be it! Later though, he confides in Eden. He’s not okay. And if this ends up being forever, he has no idea what he’ll do…
